Welcome to the Hippo Charity Store! Here, every purchase not only brings you products with Soul and Heart, but also helps fulfill our Mission: to create free educational resources to support families living with hypoglycemia. 🌟

These terms explain everything you need to know about your orders, payments, returns, and more.

Preamble

These general terms apply exclusively to the products marketed directly by The Hippo House. If you see other products or services mentioned on our website but not directly managed by us, they are not subject to these conditions.

Between you, the CLIENT, and us, THE HIPPO HOUSE ASSOCIATION (CIF G16496077), we establish these terms to ensure everything is clear and transparent.

We ship to almost the whole world 🌍, as long as the shipping fees detailed in the “About Shipping” section are covered. These terms are for consumers only; reselling is not allowed.

Placing an order in the Hippo Charity Store implies that you accept these conditions, as well as any other specified in the order itself.

1. Purpose

These conditions aim to define our commercial relationship, from placing the order, payment, delivery, and post-sale service. We want your experience to be amazing!

2. Orders

Placing an order in the Hippo Charity Store is very simple, we’ll explain it to you!

You can place your order in the following ways:

When you place your order, you’ll need to provide some personal information for us to process it, unless you already have a customer account with us.

By placing the order, the CLIENT agrees to all prices, product descriptions, and sales conditions. If any product is unavailable, we will notify you as soon as possible.

3. Delivery

We commit to sending the products available in stock as fast as possible. However, if any of the products are out of stock or in production, we will inform you about availability and the estimated delivery time.

Deliveries are made Monday to Friday to the address you provide. If you have any doubts or special requests, let us know and we’ll handle it with pleasure! 😊

Estimated delivery times (once your order is processed):

  • 48/72 hours (Mainland Spain and Portugal).
  • 4/10 days (European Union and European Economic Area).
  • 7/25 days (Rest of the World).

If any product is unavailable and cannot be replaced, we will inform you and proceed to refund the amount immediately. Don’t worry, everything will be solved quickly!

4. Payment

We offer different secure and convenient payment methods for you:

  • Payment by card via WooPayments (Stripe), which allows you to pay securely with a debit or credit card. Don’t worry, we don’t have access to your banking details! 💳
  • Payment via PayPal, if you have an account, you can pay directly from your balance or linked card.
  • Payment by bank transfer. In this case, we will send you the details of our account so you can make the transfer. Please note that transfers may take a few days. Once we receive the payment, we process your order! ⏳

5. Prices

By default, the prices you see on our website include legal taxes in Spain. No surprises! 😎 The final price of each order may include an additional charge for packaging and shipping, depending on the destination of the order.

6. Right of Withdrawal and Returns

We know that sometimes things don’t go as expected. No worries, you have 7 calendar days from receiving the order to return a product without penalty. Just make sure the item is in perfect condition, with the labels intact.

Remember, personalized or consumable products cannot be returned. 💡

If the return is due to an error (incorrect or defective product), we cover the costs! Otherwise, the CLIENT will bear the return shipping costs.

7. Warranties

If a product doesn’t meet your expectations or is defective, don’t worry! You can request an exchange, replacement, or refund. The repair and replacement will be completely free for you. If you decide to change the product, if the new product price is higher, you will need to pay the difference. If it’s lower, we will refund you the difference. 😊

8. Liability

We take your data security very seriously. The Hippo House guarantees that all your personal data will be treated securely, to prevent any unauthorized access.

9. Intellectual Property

All information and content on our website (images, texts, videos) are protected by copyright. Some content belongs to The Hippo House Association and others belong to third parties. Feel free to share our content as long as you cite us as the source! 📚

These general terms constitute the complete agreement between us and you. If any clause is annulled, it will not affect the rest of the conditions. Everything remains clear and transparent. ✅

11. Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

These General Terms of Sale are governed by Spanish law. In case of a dispute or doubt, The Hippo House and the CLIENT submit to the courts and tribunals of the fiscal domicile of The Hippo House Association.
