Il serait \u00e9galement pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable de l\u2019avoir \u00e0 port\u00e9e de main en permanence.<\/p><p>De plus, si possible, il serait pr\u00e9f\u00e9rable que tous ceux qui vivent avec cette personne sachent o\u00f9 trouver le kit de glucagon et comment pr\u00e9parer et injecter le produit.<\/p><p>Ces kits doivent \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s lorsque la personne en pleine crise, est inconsciente ou a des difficult\u00e9s de coordination ou de d\u00e9glutition du fait d\u2019une chute de la glyc\u00e9mie.<\/p><p>Ils doivent \u00e9galement \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s dans les cas o\u00f9 la glyc\u00e9mie ne s\u2019am\u00e9liore pas apr\u00e8s avoir mang\u00e9 afin de traiter les premiers sympt\u00f4mes d\u2019hypoglyc\u00e9mie.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-392dd44 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"392dd44\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-e-type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p><em>(*) Les kits d\u2019urgence de glucagon ne doivent pas \u00eatre utilis\u00e9s trop fr\u00e9quemment pour traiter l\u2019hypoglyc\u00e9mie. Si l\u2019hypoglyc\u00e9mie r\u00e9appara\u00eet fr\u00e9quemment, il peut \u00eatre n\u00e9cessaire de revoir le traitement. Par ailleurs, si le glucagon est utilis\u00e9 trop souvent, le foie pourrait ne pas avoir suffisamment de r\u00e9serves de glucose pour que le glucagon fonctionne efficacement. <\/em><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-33 elementor-top-column elementor-element administr\u00e9? <\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-41c603f8 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"41c603f8\" p\u00e9remption du kit d\u2019urgence. Ne l\u2019utilisez pas apr\u00e8s la date de p\u00e9remption!<\/li><li>Lavez-vous soigneusement les mains et ouvrez le kit.<\/li><li>V\u00e9rifiez le pot contenant la poudre ou le comprim\u00e9 pour vous assurer qu\u2019il n\u2019y a pas de points noirs. Ne l\u2019utilisez pas si vous en voyez!<\/li><li>Retirez le joint herm\u00e9tique du pot.<\/li><li>Retirez le capuchon couvrant l\u2019aiguille de la seringue et injectez tout le contenu de la seringue dans le pot de glucagon.<\/li><li>Sortez la seringue du pot et mettez-la de c\u00f4t\u00e9 (sans oublier qu\u2019elle doit rester st\u00e9rile).<\/li><li>Agiter doucement le flacon contenant le m\u00e9lange jusqu\u2019\u00e0 dissolution.<\/li><li>Ins\u00e9rez l\u2019aiguille de la seringue dans le flacon, puis retournez le flacon pour extraire la quantit\u00e9 appropri\u00e9e de glucagon (rien ne se produit si vous en prenez un peu plus\u00a0: le glucagon n\u2019est pas toxique).<\/li><li>S\u00e9lectionnez la zone d\u2019injection et nettoyez la surface de la peau. Il est conseill\u00e9 de choisir une zone charnue et large, comme les fesses ou les cuisses\u00a0; les bras ou le ventre sont d\u2019autres options.<\/li><li>Ins\u00e9rez l\u2019aiguille de la seringue dans la peau \u00e0 un angle de 90\u00b0. Injectez ensuite le liquide et essayez de garder la personne aussi immobile que possible pendant qu\u2019elle le fait. L\u2019id\u00e9al est de l\u2019injecter aussi vite que possible, surtout si la personne a des convulsions ou bouge beaucoup.<\/li><li><p>Une fois que vous avez vid\u00e9 tout le liquide, retirez et jetez la seringue usag\u00e9e en toute s\u00e9curit\u00e9.<\/p><\/li><\/ol>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column
