Questo enzima \u00e8 fondamentale per la conversione del glucosio-6-fosfato in glucosio libero, una fase finale della gluconeogenesi e della glicogenolisi. Questo disturbo porta all&#8217;accumulo di destrine borderline, una forma anomala di glicogeno.<\/p><h3><strong>GSD di tipo VI (malattia di Hers)<\/strong><\/h3><p>La malattia di Hers, o GSD di tipo VI, \u00e8 causata da una carenza dell&#8217;enzima fosforilasi epatica, necessario per la glicogenolisi. Questa carenza comporta l&#8217;incapacit\u00e0 del fegato di scindere il glicogeno in glucosio.<\/p><h4><strong>GSD di tipo IX<\/strong><\/h4><p>La GSD di tipo IX \u00e8 causata da carenze dell&#8217;enzima fosforilasi chinasi, necessario per l&#8217;attivazione della fosforilasi epatica. Questa condizione presenta diversi sottotipi, a seconda del gene interessato.<\/p><h3><strong>GSD di tipo 0<\/strong><\/h3><p>A differenza delle altre GSD, la GSD di tipo 0 \u00e8 causata da una carenza dell&#8217;enzima glicogeno sintasi, necessario per la sintesi del glicogeno.
