Educational resources
It is very difficult to teach a young child what is a drop in blood sugar level. Even more because hypoglycemia happens because of numerous factors and explaining it well requires learning many things.
Undoubtedly, living with a disease that causes recurrent hypoglycemia is a long learning process.
Yet, this journey involves many people: parents, siblings, grandparents, uncles, cousins, teachers, friends and a long list of others.
THE MOST IMPORTANT ONE: THE CHILD WHO SUFFERS FROM LOW BLOOD SUGARS.

maybe we should teach the way they learn"

Hippo family
Our children like to read, they like to paint, they like to play…
Yet, do you know what they like most?
IT IS SHARING FAMILY-TIME!
So, we thought that if we could put together what they like best with easy-learning about low blood sugar levels… Maybe they might advise us quicker when they aren’t feeling well.
That’s how Hippo was born; and little by little, that small idea turned into many more ideas…
Finally, it became a great family.
"It took me four years to paint like Raphael,
but a lifetime to paint like a child"
Pablo Picasso

The Hippo House
Learning about hypoglycemia
Mommy and daddy hippo wanted hippo to learn identifying low blood sugar symptoms because they could be away, fall asleep, etc.
THAT'S WHY, THEY STARTED PLAYING...
Didactical games
We have created a series of characters that will explain us many things about glucose, hypoglycemia, genetic diseases…
And much more!
Yet, the best part is that we’re going to learn very, very important things BY PLAYING!
Pay attention because we’re taking a run-up!
Help us go further
As you see, we have a lot of ideas, dreams and good intentions. Do you lend us a hand? So we will be able to do many more things by and for children suffering from non-diabetic hypoglycemia;) Thanks a million!
Adventures on the Planet Sugar
Sugars live on the Planet Sugar. They look quite a lot like us, but they are born with a cake stuck to their heads.
Sugars keep inside the energy they need to properly run. This is how it is written in the Book of the Tales that each Sugar keeps inside them.
They have tales for everything: the tale of the color of the eyes, the tale of the color of the skin and of course: THE CAKE TALE.
However, Mutan, the most terrible magician of the Planet Sugar, is always looking for a way to change their tales.
And sometimes, when a tale changes, a whole story changes.

everything else is just information"
